More than once in one’s lifetime, one person will come across someone in need of immediate help.
It could be a child that got lost, or an elder in need. It could be someone having a crisis or even a stroke. While the scenarios are numerous, they all require immediate response.
In the vast majority of cases such as the above, the person in need will not be able to communicate. Most people while enduring a shock or a crisis are not able to identify themselves or their condition accurately. Hence, even if a first responder attempts to help, they will not be able to access the kind of information that could make the difference between life and death. People with chronic diseases or allergies could respond in unexpected ways to medication so it is vital for the paramedics to know the exact medical condition of the victim.
