Approximately 45% of the worlds population suffer from misalignment in the feet, causing symptoms of pain in the knees, hips, shins and lower back. A bio-mechanical manipulation achieved through custom made insole orthotics correct this misalignment and relieve the symptoms of pain. The current solutions are complicated, take a longtime and need multiple specialists which make it very expensive and it is not covered by most insurances.

Verdienmodel

Gyrafit will start B2B offering a alignment solution to medical practices which treat movement the symptoms of misalignment such as physiotherapists and chiropractors but have to outsource or refer the treatment of the source to other practices such as podiatrists (podotherpeut or podoloog). They will purchase insole inventory (hardware) at wholesale prices and gain free access to the diagnostic app. In turn they will resell the insole to their new and existing patient network, through offering a new alignment screening and assessment service.

Concurrentie

Our competition is primarily in current hardware and medical practitioner solutions; custom made orthotics from podiatrists, through plaster cast of the feet and/or 3D printing of custom insoles via scanning. These both however need the diagnosis and prescription from a specialist.
Adjustable wedge systems, low cost pre-manufactured shells with a variety of wedges which get glued or stuck to the bottom of the shell to correct alignment. This is not an accurate method and is based on trial and error diagnosis.
